RIVER RATS INTRODUCE NEW "FLEX" SEASON TICKETS

NEW BERN, NC—The River Rats today introduced the "Flex Season Ticket", a new flexible option for the upcoming season.  "Flex" season ticket holders will receive a booklet of thirty undated vouchers good for any home game in 2007.  "Flex" season tickets will cost $100, the same price as a traditional season ticket.Fans interested in purchasing season tickets should call the team at (252) 675-5689.

"The Flex Season Ticket allows fans the flexibilty to use their vouchers in any combination during the season," said River Rats General Manager Michael Weisbart.  "They can use it to bring four friends to opening night, attend by themselves the next, and bring a party of ten to see fireworks--it's really wide open."

Traditional season tickets are still on sale, Weisbart said.  Traditional season tickets include one game ticket for each of the 30 home games the River Rats will play at Boykin Field this summer.  Prices are $100 for adults, $75 for seniors and military, and $50 for children ages 3 to 12.

In addition to discounted ticket prices, season ticket holders receive a number of extra benefits.  These include a VIP Parking Pass (one per account, first 30 accounts only) and specials events like our “Meet the Players” pre-season picnic and “Batting Practice with the Team” in-season event.
